2. ELIGIBILITYYou must:

If you are a business customer, the Late Payment and Liability clauses apply as written for B2B.
By submitting work, you warrant that:
- The manuscript is your original work or that you hold all necessary rights
- The work does not infringe any third-party rights
- The work does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or prohibited material
3.1 Submission does not guarantee publication — All manuscripts are subject to editorial review. Submission alone does not imply acceptance, publication, or obligation to proceed.
3.2 Editorial discretion — We reserve the sole right to determine:
- Whether a manuscript is suitable for our imprint
- Whether revisions are required
- Whether we decline to proceed

- Sales volume
- Bestseller status
- Income or profit
- Retail placement

5. PUBLISHING MODEL & FINANCIAL STRUCTURE5.1 Publishing model — Our model differs from traditional and self-publishing models:
- Authors retain 100% of intellectual property rights
- Authors retain 100% of royalties
- Production and publishing costs are funded upfront
- We do not acquire ownership or revenue share
5.2 Investment & scope — Any fees charged reflect:
- Editorial development
- Production and design
- Publishing infrastructure
- Distribution setup
- Project management
Fees are disclosed before any agreement is finalised.
5.3 Capped downside — Your financial risk is limited to the agreed fee. There are no hidden charges, royalties, or future claims on your work.
6. PAYMENTS6.1 Payment terms
Fees must be paid as agreed before services commence.
Payments are non-refundable once work has begun, unless required by law.
6.2 Currencies & taxes
Fees may be charged in GBP or equivalent.
Authors are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees in their jurisdiction.
7. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS7.1 Before work begins — Refunds may be considered at our discretion if services have not commenced.
7.2 After work begins — Once editorial or production work has started, refunds are generally not available due to time, labour, and third-party costs already incurred.
7.3 Statutory rights — Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY8.1 Author ownership — You retain all rights to your manuscript and final published work.
8.2 Licence to operate — You grant The Publishers House.com a limited, non-exclusive licence to:
- Edit, format, and produce the work
- Publish and distribute it as agreed
- Display excerpts for promotional purposes (unless opted out)
8.3 Publisher materials — All branding, processes, templates, and materials created by The Publishers House.com remain our intellectual property.
9. DISTRIBUTION & THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMSDistribution is provided through third-party platforms (e.g. print-on-demand, ebook retailers).
We are not responsible for:
- Platform policy changes
- Account suspensions by retailers
- Algorithmic visibility or rankings
Retailers operate independently and at their discretion.
10. AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIESYou agree to:

Delays caused by lack of response may affect timelines.
